The Commission of National Education Secondary School No.1 in Sanok is a public state school

taking pride in over a hundred years of tradition. Academically, its background is a lower secondary school.

Our school offers a three-year learning course (a comprehensive course during the first year of studying and

extensive syllabus classes during the second and the third years).

The objective of Secondary School No.1 is to explore young people’s intellectual potential, nourish

their aspirations and bring them up in accordance with the education system standards. We are oriented

towards efficiently preparing students for the Matura exam and guiding them towards making viable

choices regarding their further education. We assure the young individual attention and facilitate their

cultural, emotional, cognitive, creative and spiritual growth. All this is stimulated by the friendly educational

atmosphere of“Jedynka”.

Our Teaching Staff acts both as masters and guides for our students. We offer young people and   their parents psychological assistance.
