Here is an outline of the activity of the association called Stowarzyszenie Inicjatyw
Wychowawczych im. Ks. Wieslawa Siwca which was established in 2004 on the
initiative of the late school’s priest Wiesław Siwiec to support the accomplishment of
I LO’s versatile goals.
The Association aims at:
- developing talents and interests of our youth
- promoting students literary and artistic output
- promoting a healthy, addiction-free lifestyle
- promoting sports and charity activity
- providing financial aid to students stricken by misfortune
- teaching openness to other cultures, languages and religions through tolerance
- funding scholarships for talented youth
- integrating youth within the EU
- providing material aid for the school
The Association intends to accomplish its objectives through:
- publishing activity, promoting literary and artistic output of our students
- organizing or participating in cultural events in the school environment
- funding scholarships for talented youth
- providing financial aid to students in difficult circumstances
- organizing students’ sightseeing trips around Poland and beyond its borders
- holding meetings and getting involved in co-operation with Polish and foreign youth
associations and organizations of a similar character (e.g. language and integration camps).
It is possible to support the activity of Stowarzyszenie Inicjatyw Wychowawczych im.
Ks. Wieslawa Siwca by donating 1% of one’s income tax to its needs. All you have to do
is to write the full name of the Association and KRS No. n your tax report (PIT). Here it is:
